Talking Terroir @ Mount View - Saturday June 20
Celebrating the Hunter Valley’s Wine & Food Month
Join a group of like minded wine and food lovers for a leisurely walk amongst the vines at Tallavera Grove, with Dr. John Davis (Geologist & Vigneron) and get some first hand knowledge on how the combination of soils, vineyard management and micro-climate give Mount View wines their unique fruit driven characters. Passionate young winemakers Michael Hudson of Peterson’s Family Wines and Janelle Zerk from Mount View Estate, will continue with the theme over a delicious 3 course lunch created by legendary chef, Robert Molines. No wine event would be complete without playing a wine options game, it’s fun and anyone can play. Ray Kearsley, proprietor and vigneron from Bimbadeen Estate is MC and game host.
