Sydney to Cessnock:
FROM SYDNEY - to Hunter Valley Wine Country via National 1 Highway (or F3 Freeway) (2 hours from Sydney CBD)
From Sydney CBD, cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge heading North and follow signs to Newcastle and North Coast. This will lead you to Pacific Highway.
Follow the Pacific Highway until you reach the National Highway 1 Freeway entrance at Wahroonga. (From Harbour Bridge to National Highway 1 Freeway entrance approx 30 minutes depending on traffic.)
Take the National Highway 1 Freeway north towards Newcastle. Exit the Freeway at the Cessnock / Hunter Valley Vineyards sign. ( Approx 1 hour or 100kms on freeway ). Follow the
signs to the town of Cessnock, through to Wollombi Road and turn right into
Mount View Road.
ALTERNATE ROUTES - FROM SYDNEY
Route 1- From Sydney to Hunter Valley Wine Country via Tourist Drive 33 & Wollombi Valley (2.5 hours from Sydney CBD)
Once you are on the National 1 Highway, exit at the Calga Interchange on the Peats Ridge or Tourist Drive 33 sign.
Follow to Peats Ridge, turning left just after the Service Station and follow the signs to Wollombi. A scenic and historic drive along the Great North Rd Convict Trail. No dirt roads are experienced.
Numerous historic convict sites will be seen on this road.
At Wollombi, take the Wollombi Road and sign to Cessnock
and drive to Millfield, look for brown 'vineyards' sign and turn left onto
Mount View Road.
FROM PORT STEPHENS, NORTH COAST OR NEWCASTLE
From any of these areas, approach Hexham, and then follow the signs to The New England Highway and Maitland.
When on New England Highway, exit on the Kurri Kurri Signs and drive to Hunter Valley Wine
Country via the country towns of Kurri Kurri, Abermain, Neath and Cessnock. Once you are in Cessnock turn onto
Wollombi Road heading south towards Wollombi then turn right into Mount View
Road.

FROM WEST - NEW ENGLAND HIGHWAY:
Driving from Singleton on the New England Highway heading East. Turn right onto Hermitage Rd to enter Hunter Valley Wine Country from Pokolbin and Belford, or drive to Branxton and turn right at the traffic lights, entering Hunter Valley Wine Country through Branxton and North Rothbury.
Continue along Branxton Road through to Allandale
Road on to Cessnock. Turn right at the T intersection onto Wollombi Road,
then right again into Mount View Road.
FROM SOUTH WEST - PUTTY RD:
Exit the Putty Rd at Milbrodale Rd, on the Broke & Cessnock sign. Follow to the Village of Broke. Turn right then left onto Broke Rd. Follow Broke Rd to the t- intersection of McDonalds Rd. Turn left, then immediately right onto Broke Rd (also called Broke Rd).
Follow Broke Road to the T intersection of
McDonalds Road. Turn right follow the road until the t intersection and turn
left onto Oakey Creek Road, continue on to the next T intersection and turn
right to Mt View Road.
